Wolves vs Bournemouth 2018/19 Match Preview

After a run of form which saw Wolves pick up just a solitary point from 18 on offer, things are all of a sudden looking a lot brighter for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men. Since then they have managed to earn back to back wins beating Chelsea and Newcastle in the process.

Today sees them play host to a Bournemouth side who have lost five of their last six matches, with the only positive coming in a recent win at home to Huddersfield. To be fair to Eddie Howe’s men though they have had some difficult fixtures recently including the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool as opposition.

And it was Liverpool last weekend who handed out a heavy defeat at the Vitality as the Cherries lost by four goals to nil, they may well have been a heavy hint of offside in Mohamed Salah’s opener but it is fair to say that they were certainly outclassed on the South Coast.

In terms of recent form Wolves are the better side but as mentioned Bournemouth have had a very tough run of games as of late, this fixture will provide them with a more realistic hope of success and staying in the race for sixth place.

However with that said, Wolves’ tails are definitely up at the moment and therefore I can see this one ending with honours even at Molineux
