Fulham vs West Ham 2018/19 Match Preview

After an all important win over Southampton in Claudio Ranieri’s opening game as Fulham manager it is fair to say that he has been bought back down to earth with a bang after witnessing his players fall to a miserable 4-1 defeat away to Manchester United last Saturday.

This evening though the Cottagers will be looking to bounce back as they play host to a West Ham side who have picked up a real head of steam as of late, something that has put them just outside the top half of the table as they start in the weekend lying in 11th.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men have turned their fortunes around after a miserable start to the campaign, one that has seen them pick up 13 points out of the last 18 that are on offer. No longer are they looking over their shoulders they now have every right to be looking up the table.

And with Fulham having the leakiest defence in the Premier League this season it does offer West Ham a real hope of winning a second London derby in as many weeks. At the same time though the Hammers do not have the most watertight of defences either.

Something that was evident when they got the better of Crystal Palace at the London Stadium last weekend as the two sides played out a five goal thriller and with that in mind I think there will be one less goal scored this evening as the Fulham and West Ham play out a 2-2 draw.

Fulham vs West Ham 2018/19 Match Preview Prediction: Draw
